Meeting Summary: Below you
will find the results of the chapter and alumni retreat held in Waco on
August 26th. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Mark
Brooks for pulling it all together and to all the Alumni who traveled to
Waco to spend one of there Saturdays with the chapter.
The retreat was organized into three breakout
sessions, which were designated as Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly
Love. Each of these
sub-teams was responsible for identify goals and improvement ideas for
alumni relations, recruitment, risk management, new member development,
scholarship, or improving chapter involvement.
Both alumni and active sponsors are encouraged to make
the most of these ideas and carry them to fruition. In this spirit, Mark Brooks has established a monthly visit
for alumni to chapter meetings to offer assistance. Please feel free to volunteer for this effort (contact Mark
if interested).
